Your Local Coordinating Council for Prevention & Action
At Hub Coalition Porter County, our Local Coordinating Council (LCC) brings together community organizations, service providers, law enforcement, educators, and residents to address alcohol and other drug issues across Valparaiso, Portage, Chesterton and the wider Porter County region. By aligning resources, data, and strategy, we empower our community to reduce substance misuse and improve wellness — together.

What the LCC Does
Planning • Coordinating • Measuring Community Impact
The LCC serves as the official planning and coordinating body in Porter County for addressing alcohol and substance-use problems. Our members—volunteers drawn from education, treatment, social services, law enforcement, and civic groups—work together to develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive community plan that meets the unique needs of our community.
